Tolfenamic acid (Clotam) is a member of the anthranilic acid derivatives (or fenamate) class of NSAID drugs discovered by scientists at Medica Pharmaceutical Company in Finland.〔Pentikäinen PJ, et al (Human pharmacokinetics of tolfenamic acid, a new anti-inflammatory agent ).
